We are committed to giving help and support to anyone over the age of 16 years if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse, or are a survivor of domestic abuse. We are not here to make decisions for you. We do not push you into making decisions. We will support you in your own choices and give you all the information you need to make the right choices for you.
Our services are for both men and women.
These include:
Confidential Helpline – this is the first point of contact for people seeking information, advice and support, a listening ear for adults over 16 years who have experienced domestic violence and related issues at any time in their lives.
Referral service to refuges nationwide – we will locate temporary accommodation to give sufferers a secure place to make decisions about their future
Ongoing support – one to one support in person or on the phone for as long as required
Counselling – One to one Counselling for as long as required,
Advocacy – Support attending meetings and liaising with other organisations like Housing, Solicitors, Court , Welfare Benefits, Social Services etc
Self-help Groups – Several groups throughout the week enabling people to support one another and have the opportunity to increase their confidence and self esteem.
Access to the Drop-in at any time for ongoing support
Listening to you and assessing your needs.
Independent Domestic Abuse Adviser – who provides a service to high risk victims
Sanctuary Scheme – improved security in your own property following successful risk assessment
